Made a New Year’s resolution to recycle, and to not expect much from Atlanta media and a particular writer. Have kept both resolutions.
Flew down to Tampa, Florida to watch what turned out to be Phillip Fulmer’s last bowl game.
Live-blogged from the Jefferson Jackson dinner, where I heard Hillary Clinton speak in person and sat just a few yards away from Max Cleland.
Decided to vote for Barack Obama in the Democratic primary.
February
Had a scaling and planing, which has led me to be vigilant about dental hygiene.
Took another road trip to Nashville, which was fun despite the conference we attended turning out to be lame. It even led to a video episode of Mostly ITP, which sparked my interest in making other videos (another of which will be revealed soon).
March
Explored some conflicting feelings I had about my grandfather, and my mom responded to them.
A tornado hit downtown Atlanta, and blog/Twitter/Flickr coverage often outpaced and influenced local news coverage.
April
Amber and volunteers put on Sex 2.0, which exceeded my expectations. The Oh-so-two-point-oh badges I made as a joke turned out to be the most popular badges people put on their websites, go figure.
May
Marked my three-year anniversary with Amber!
Launched the redesign of the Georgia Podcast Network.
June
Took a break from having a personal blog.
Had a great road trip to Columbus, Ga. where we made a second video episode of Mostly ITP.
July
Wrote about a trip my brother and I took to New York to catch a Yankees game.
August
Had an adventure in Oakland City.
Interviewed myself circa 2004.
Threw out some ideas for our wedding.
Went to war with the squirrels.
Got NCAA Picks rolling.
September
Wrote about our house hunt.

October
Had my wisdom tooth surgery but didn’t really write much about it other than mentioning it briefly in a post.
Visited the Waffle House museum.
Bought Amber a robotic baby chick for her birthday.
Made my first campaign promise in the race for Cobb County tax commissioner.

November
There was a presidential election, and the candidate I preferred won.
Turned 30, wondered what’s supposed to happen next.
Not blogged but should have been: wonderful birthday dinner with friends; trip to Knoxville to watch Phillip Fulmer’s last game as coach at Tennessee; Georgia Podcast Network winning a Best of Atlanta award from Atlanta Magazine (Amber blogged it though).

Received write-in returns from my bid to become Cobb County tax commissioner as a DeKalb resident, wherein I laid a whupping on Jesus Christ.
Failed to start the bowl picks I said I would start due to my schedule crapping on my head.
Have one more substantial item coming up soon before the new year wraps, hopefully. Will update this post if/when it’s up.
